We all have heard the latest statement of the Pope and what followed as a result. True he apologized saying that he just quoted what it was said on the 14th century but I personally fail completely to understand the why he did it in the first place. I always was under the impression that we live in the 21st century. Maybe I am wrong up the recent 5 years everybody, at least thats what they say, trying to promote peace and understanding between all and especially between Muslims and Christians.
A small parenthesis. Type both the above ie Muslims and Christians in Microsoft word in small letters inside a sentence and see what happens (have the auto-correct on). The word Muslims will be underlined as wrong and the word Christians will auto-correct with a capital C. You have to manually correct the small m to capital M to tell you that you have it correct. I wonder why Parenthesis closed.
Quoting what it was said on the 14th century about the Muslim religion DOES NOT HELP. Or it does? Well it does help the cause of the ones that want the conflict ongoing, it helps the hawks of war that have their eyes on Iran and if some alternative news websites are to be believed better stock up in oil now because you will miss it later since the attack on Iran is coming soon.
It helps those that are in the extremes from both sides, Christian or Muslim, both blinded and both equally to be blamed for what is happening. When you have a fire you try to extinguish it with water, you do not throw more fuel in it.
Many will rush and say he apologized so matter is closed. Okay then I say to say that you are an idiot. I bet you are about to explode with rage. Then I apologise for saying that you are an idiot. Matter closed? I do not think so. You still have that sour taste in your mouth and feel insulted no matter if I apologized or not.
That was his purpose because he did it on purpose because if he did not then may God help all of us for having such a person as the Pope no matter if you are catholic or orthodox or whatever.
I wonder what he will say next. I wonder what he will say when (not if unfortunately and thats my opinion at this point) another free country is attacked in the name of democracy. Think about it, it is like we are re-living the crusades all over. This time is democracy, last time was theocracy. The result the same. Ruins, death, hate and the opponent more strong at the end. The crusades failed then and will fail today, only the stakes are higher now. Then they had swords and arrows, now we have nuclear bombs and war planes and terrorism and and and
I want to live and I want my daughter to love in a world that has harmony, as much as that can be sustained. In a world that differences are solved by talking and understanding of the other. I think the Pope lives in the 14th century, somebody please let him know that we have reached the 21st and the crusades are over.
